The Constitution was amended by the deletion of an Advertising Officer from the list of Executive Officers. The Membership Subscriptions are to continue unchanged for the calendar year 2003: £12 and £15 (overseas addresses). The meeting approved the introduction of a five-year membership rate of £50 and £70 (overseas addresses).

Following the conclusion of the meeting, Lyndall Gordon gave a talk entitled ‘This Loose Drifting Material of Life: Virginia Woolf and Biography’.
